How to setup a bar code scanning pc

One of the ways you can use our Job Card software, is by bar-code. What this means, is setting up a PC on your factory floor that is networked. This has a bar-code scanner and utilizes the built in bar-codes printed on the standard job cards. You will also need to print the user access bar-code sheet.

Your factory staff will then scan their access card, then scan ether start, pause or complete bar-codes on the job card. This is the easiest way to track staff on the floor, but can be tricky to setup for users that have limited IT know how. We have supplied a how to manual for this and will be glad to contact your computer IT staff to help set this up if needed.
